Uhhhh...I was going to blog but I got kind of side tracked and now I don't feel like I have anything of significance to say.

Ephesians 6:10-20
When's the last time you put on the full armor of God. I think its been a while for me. I put on parts mostly everyday but not always the whole thing. And its nice to remember that we aren't fighting against flesh and blood. Thank you, Lord, that there are bigger things than school and grades. Fight the battle, Ladies and Gentlemen. And make sure you're equipped because its a hard fight. But don't make the mistake of thinking you're in it alone, because you're not. Turn to your fellow believers as well as God. People can't read minds, its hard for them to be a warrior on your behalf if you don't let them in.

"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." (Eph 6:14). Wow! We are called to stand! We aren't called to be beaten to our knees, barely holding on for dear life and out of breath at the end of the day. We have the ability to stand. The next verse begins with "Stand firm then..." We have such power in Jesus' name. Pardon the cliche but...Let's open a can of whoop ass! Strong holds aren't meant to be broken so that they can one day be put back together. Jesus came to decimate those suckers. I know that people want to characterize Christians as peace loving hippies, but we suppose to be warriors! Yeah, lets show love for our neighbors, but let's also fight for them as Satan tries everything he can to crush them.

Yes, Jesus did sacrifice his life for us. But what's more important is that he rose! Without the resurrection there'd be no point, no power. Take hold of your power that you have in Jesus' name, you Christians. Take hold and use it!
